Clyde Alden Kruger, of Ann Arbor, passed to his heavenly home on Tuesday, January 23, 2018 surrounded by his loving family, after a brief illness.
Clyde was born on July 3, 1930 in Ypsilanti, MI, the son of Charles and Loretta (Block) Kruger. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.
He was a Ford man and spent 30 years at Ford Motor Company before retiring. He was an active member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Bridgewater and led the praying elders for many years.
Clyde’s sense of humor, huge heart, and love of John Deere Tractors will be missed by all.
He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Clema, daughter Diane (Tom) Elwart, daughter Linda (Mark) Wilcox, six grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, sisters Vernagene Schafer and Irene Jedele, several sister-in-laws, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Clyde was preceded in death by his parents, his son Larry Alden Kruger, sister Una Mulholland, and brothers Norman and Roy Kruger.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 27, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 8805 Austin Road, Bridgewater, MI with Pastor Drexel Morton officiating.
Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. John’s Lutheran Church. Envelopes will be available at the Robison-Bahnmiller Funeral Home in Saline where friends may join the family for a time of visitation on Friday, January 26, from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. and again at the church from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service at 11:00 A.M.
