Donald Gall, 89, was a Veteran of the Korean War

Donald E. Gall passed away peacefully, with his family by his side, on Thursday, April 12, 2018 at 89 years of age.

He was born, raised and spent most of his life in Saline. Don passed away at Arbor Hospice from various complications.  

He is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Rita Kemner Gall.  Five daughters; Jenny Gall Case of MO, Jayne (David) Gall Fincher of KS, Sherry (Pete) Kemner Hodgman of MI, Debi (Greg) Kemner Thorne of OH and Kimberly Kemner of MI; very special friends, Robin and Ruth Wright of MI; plus 11 grandchildren and one great grandson. Don was preceded in death by his parents Samuel and Dorthea Gall, brother Sam Jr. and sister Arline Sandall.

Don served in the US Army during the Korean War.  He retired from R&B Machine in Saline. After retirement, Don loved spending time in his garage workshop making a variety of woodcraft items. He was famous for his Lighthouses, Blue Heron birds, and wine cabinets. Don was a jack of all trades around the house. He was a quiet, gentle man who will be greatly missed. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, June 9, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. at the Saline First United Methodist Church.
