Funeral for Tommie Wiley, 80, Nov. 10

Tommie Daniel Wiley, 80, of Saline, Michigan passed away peacefully on November 5, 2017. 

Tommie was born in Lebanon, Tennessee on March 29, 1937 to the late John Thomas Wiley and Cleo (Pharris) Wiley.  He married Joan (Bogard) Wiley in October 1959 and they were married for 58 years.

Wiley Picture EDITED.jpgTommie is survived by his three children, Dean (Tina) Wiley of Kauai, HI, Charisse (Carl) Glass of Phoenix, Arizona, and Colette Wiley of Saline; eight grandchildren, Daniel Dykas, Derrick Dykas, Andrew Nichols, Alexa (Wiley) Welton, Carter Glass, Jacob Glass, Austin Wiley, and Nathan Glass.  He is also survived by his sister Louise Wiley, and many nephews and nieces. Preceded in death by his sister Sylvia (Wiley) Winkler.

Tommie was employed at Luster Plating for eight years before starting a long career at General Motors Company (GMC) for 33 years. He was a big outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing as was a longtime Detroit Tiger baseball.

Family will receive friends on Thursday, November 9, 2017 from 2:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at the Robison-Bahnmiller Funeral Home in Saline. The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, November 10, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. at Robison-Bahnmiller Funeral Home. Friends may begin arriving at 10:00 A.M. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in his name may be made to the Humane Society of Huron Valley. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
