Gertrude L. D’Agostino, 85, passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side on Monday, November 18, 2019 at Arbor Hospice in Saline. She was born on April 14, 1934, in Ann Arbor Michigan, to Ivo and Gertrude (Graf) Brewer.

dagostino.jpgGertrude loved flowers and expressed her artistic creativity as a floral designer for over 50 years. Even in her later years, she continued to make beautiful wreaths for others, her last wreaths done less than a month before her passing.

Gertrude is survived by her Sons, Richard D’Agostino of Mesa, Arizona and Alan (Lori) D’Agostino of Ann Arbor, Daughter Deanna (Steve) Champagne of Chelsea, Daughter-in-law Cynthia D’Agostino of Brighton, Sisters Barbara Baker of Umatilla, Florida and Delores Neff of Mesa, Arizona, and her former husband Anthony D’Agostino of Chelsea. Gertrude was the proud grandmother of 8 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

Gertrude was preceded in death by her son David D’Agostino, parents Ivo and Gertrude Brewer, and one sister Virginia Jones.

A Memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 23, 2019, at 2:00 P.M., at the Robison-Bahnmiller funeral home in Saline with Pastor Kathy Schell officiating. Family will receive friends before the service on Saturday from 1:00 P.M. until the time of service at 2:00 P.M. Burial will take place in the Holy Spirit Cemetery in Brighton, MI in the future.

The family would like to express our thanks for the wonderful help and care given by the Arbor Hospice Residence in Saline. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to Arbor Hospice and envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
