Jeannette A. Lutz, age 98, passed away on Thursday, December 7, 2017 in Saline.

Jeannette was born on September 22, 1919 in Ann Arbor, the daughter of Karl Frederick and Marguerite Agnes (Lucas) Lutz.

Jeannette enjoyed caring for the dairy goats on her parent's Robranna farm in Saline. She designed the bottle cap logo used on the milk bottles. She painted whimsical stencil designs on furniture and doors to brighten the farm and home. She loved reading many subjects, civil war history, Ann Arbor history, sewing and knitting, gardening, birds & nature and adored her geese, dogs and cats and was always kind to all animals. 

Survivors include her sister Karlen G. (Lutz) Cole of Texas, niece Marguerite Little of New Baltimore, MI, niece Karlen Marie McLean of Texas, great-niece  Kate Pace of Virginia, and dear friends Janet Movahhed and Lorraine Thompson.

She was preceded in death by her parents & sister Shirley R. (Lutz) Little. Cremation has taken place and burial will take place in Oakwood Cemetery in Saline at a later date.
