Judith Ann Talvitie, age 75, passed away on Sunday, October 27, 2019 in Adrian. She was born on October 31, 1943 in Sturgeon Bay, WI, the daughter of Stanley and Shirley (Moreau) LeMay. Judy was married to Gerald D. Talvitie for over 53 years when he passed away in January of this year. Judy grew up in Escanaba, MI, graduated from Holy Name High School, and went on to graduate from Beauty School in Green Bay, WI.

During her lifetime, Judy loved to laugh and joke. She was a real "spitfire," but was also friendly, trusting, generous to a fault, and gave everyone a chance. Judy would treat a complete stranger like a best friend. Her favorite singer was Willie Nelson, and she loved to watch Dancing With The Stars, cooking shows, old westerns, and Third Rock From The Sun. She loved Christmas and Halloween, her passion was cooking, and her dream was her red brick ranch house. Her greatest love was her two sons, followed closely by her two grandchildren. She liked to eat her dessert first.

Survivors include her sons Christopher Thomas and Theodore James; daughter-in-law Tammy; grandchildren Michael and Zoe; sister Sharon Hanson of Negunee, MI; brother Stanley LeMay of Escanaba, MI; and by her beloved nephew/nieces Joe, Millisa, Danielle, Kristi, Angela, and Kirsten. Friends may join the family for a Memorial Gathering on Thursday, October 31, 2019 between the hours of 3:00 P.M. and 7:00 P.M. at the Robison-Bahnmiller Funeral Home in Saline. A Time of Sharing will be held at 5:00 P.M. and friends are encouraged to share memories you have of Judith. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family c/o Tammy Talvitie and envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
