Our beloved husband and father, Roger Michael Luckhardt, went to be with his Heavenly Father on Tuesday, December 10, 2019 at 4:22 am.

Roger was born November 16, 1956 to the late Robert and Esther Luckhardt.

He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Susan Luckhardt, and their children, David (Alicia) Luckhardt, Sarah (Christian) Burrell, and Melissa (Dan) Gawura. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Aiden, Liam, and Lily Luckhardt, Joanna, Molly, and Emma Burrell, and Danny Gawura; his brothers Robert Luckhardt and Harvey (Marcella) Luckhardt, his sisters-in-law, Paulette (Bradley) Roulo and Kathy (Larry) Tate and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents Robert and Esther Luckhardt and his sister-in-law Barbara Steele Luckhardt.

Roger enjoyed many hobbies and interests in his life: hunting, fishing, woodworking, motorcycle racing and Civil War re-enacting. He was a member of the Civil War Re-enactment group Battery B First Michigan Light Artillery and greatly enjoyed the camaraderie of this group. In recent years he enjoyed restoring antique tractors, farming his several acres and tending to his goats, chickens and pigs. He was adored by his grandchildren and enjoyed playing with them and teaching them about his many interests. He was greatly loved and will be deeply missed.
