After-school traffic could be a mess in Saline as a DTE crew continues to repair a downed utility pole on Woodland Drive.

Maple Road traffic is shut down from Woodland Drive to Thibault Lane, the tiny east-west road that services the Saline Middle School-Liberty School campus.

Southbound Maple Road traffic cannot pass Woodland Drive. Northbound Maple Road traffic is being directed along Thibualt Lane to Ann Arbor Street.

Student pick-up will be allowed at Saline Middle School. Saline Police Officer Dave Ringe will be at the school directing traffic.

Power was shut down in the area. According to the DTE website, only nine customers are affected.
