The Washtenaw County Prosecutor’s Office has authorized a complaint against a Garden City man accused of sexually assaulting a co-worker at Faurecia, Feb. 2.
The 21-year-old man is accused of walking up to a co-worker, kissing her on the mouth, putting his hand up her shirt and touching her breast, according to a Saline Police Department file.
The prosecutor’s office has authorized a fourth-degree criminal sexual conduct complaint against the man.
Arrest After Domestic Incident
Police arrested a 37-year-old Britton man after a domestic violence incident on the 200 block of North Maple. According to the police department report, the man and his girlfriend were arguing March 27. The woman told police he became angry and grabbed her by the throat and pushed her against a cupboard.
A 28-year-old Saline man brought his husky to the police department after it was attacked by a German Shepard on Henry Street near Lewis Street March 27. The owner said he was walking his dog on the north side of Henry Street when the German Sheherd ran across the road and engaged his dog. The dog bit his husky’s paw, causing it to bleed. The man told police it was not the first time the dog attacked his.
Police interviewed the 43-year-old owner of the German Shepherd. He said he was leashing his dog when it saw the husky and bolted. He told police he took full responsibility for the dog’s behavior. Police warned him to keep his dog under control at all times.
18-Year-Old Driver Cited
An 18-year-old Tower Drive woman was cited for impeding traffic and possession of drug paraphernalia March 22. At 6:50 p.m., near Nichols Drive and Harris Street, police stopped a vehicle for speeding and disobeying a stop sign. During the stop, police detected the odor or marijuana. Answering police, she told women she had marijuana in the vehicle and turned it over to police. Police confiscated the glass marijuana pipe.
