There were no serious injuries in a two-vehicle crash on Michigan Avenue that snared rush-hour traffic Monday afternoon.

A Ford Escape was westbound on Michigan Avenue, near Mickey’s Dairy Twist, when a Dodge Ram pickup attempted to cross Michigan Avenue, from a shopping plaza parking lot to a home. The two vehicles collided, causing the pickup truck to roll over.

According to Saline Police Officer Don Lupi, the male driver of the pickup truck was the at-fault driver.

Despite the dramatic appearance of the crash scene, the driver was alert and able to speak to police and paramedics on the scene.

Nobody was transported to the hospital as a result of the crash.
