Fire caused $200,000 damage to a home in Pittsfield Township’s Stonebridge subdivision Thursday evening.

The Pittsfield Township Fire Department was dispatched to a structure fire on the 1700 block of Monterey Court around 7:10 p.m. They found a large, two-story home with heavy fire through its roof.

Firefighters entered the structure to do a primary search for victims and extinguish the blaze, according to Pittsfield Fire Chief Sean Gleason. No victims were found and no injuries were reported.

Gleason said it took about 30 minutes for firefighters to get the blaze under control.

The cause of the fire is under investigation but it is not suspicious, Gleason said.

Firefighters from Saline, Ypsilanti, Ypsilanti Township and the City of Ann Arbor provided mutual aid.
