On Jan. 5, around 4:20 p.m., the Washtenaw County Sheriff’s Office was alerted to a white Chevy Silverado driving “all over the road” near Maple Road and Clark Street. Saline Police located the vehicle and watched it fail to stay in its lane. Police stopped the vehicle in front of a business on East Michigan Avenue. Once out of the vehicle, the driver had to be supported by police to keep from falling down. He was not wearing shoes. A preliminary breath test showed a blood alcohol content over the .17 threshold at which the “super drunk” laws come into play. The man was arrested and taken to the Washtenaw County Jail after being evaluated by paramedics.
