Despite Gov. Gretchen Whitmer's "Stay Home, Stay Safe" shelter-in-place order to mitigate the spread of coronavirus, Michigan residents are encouraged to enjoy the outdoors and go for walks, runs and bike rides. Residents are urged, however, to practice social distancing - to stay six feet or more away from each other.
City of Saline parks are open. But Parks and Recreation staff note that park equipment, such as playscapes and swings, have not been sanitized. The Washtenaw County Health Department does not recommend using playground equipment.
