Hundreds of people tested the latest and greatest Ford vehicles during a test drive event at Harvest Elementary School Saturday. The annual Drive One 4UR School event, sponsored by Ford Motor Company and Briarwood Ford, was a fundraiser for the Saline Music Boosters, which supports band and choir programs in the Saline Area Schools.

Ford Motor Company donated $20 for every test drive, up to $6,000. Another $2,000 was up for grabs with additional test drives of the Ford Eco-Sport and Expedition.

Chris Tressler, treasurer for the Saline Music Boosters, said people completed 273 waiver forms during the day.

The money funds the purchase of music, field trips, guest conductors and more educational initiatives.
