BOSTON, MA (04/26/2017)-- Saline's Christina Bartson, who is majoring in Communication Studies and is the member of the class of 2017 at Emerson College, has been chosen for induction into the College's Purple Key Leadership Society for the 2014-15 academic year. Recipients of this honor have demonstrated exceptional leadership and service, solid academic achievement, and a commitment to civic engagement.
The 26 students selected for this honor have completed at least 88 credits each prior to the Fall 2016 semester with a 3.0 or better cumulative grade point average, and are in good social standing. Applicants were reviewed by a committee comprised of students from the junior class and members of the academic and student affairs staffs, according to the following criteria: leadership and service; academic achievement; citizenship and civic engagement; and future potential leadership.
Purple Key Leadership Society recipients were recognized during the College's annual Emerson Recognition and Achievement Awards ceremony on April 2.
