Saline Community Education and Great Lakes Educational Group are teaming up to help your child avoid the “summer slide.”

The term “summer slide” refers to the learning loss that many students experience over the summer months, while on break from school. Often times, this summer slide learning loss means that students will need weeks to re-learn old material at the beginning of the next school year. There are plenty of ways to keep students’ brains active throughout the summer, with the help of local resources like Great Lakes Educational Group and Saline Community Education.
