Pleasant Ridge music students performed several musical numbers for the Saline Area Schools Board of Education during the board's Oct. 24 meeting. Board members were invited to participate in some of the activities, including a beanbag-passing game, that went along with the songs.
Students showed how cross-curriculum lessons are incorporated into music class, from learning Spanish language songs and Spanish dances to learning how to tell time.
The students ended with a rousing rendition of the Saline High School fight song.
