The fun begins right after school Friday in the Saline High School commons, where the South and West Washtenaw Consortium culinary arts students are having their annual chili cookoff from 4 to 7 p.m. Cost is $7.
The parade begins at 5:15 p.m., across from Harvest Elementary School. The bands, floats and other participants will proceed to Hornet Stadium.
Saline hosts Monroe in the annual homecoming game. Both teams have 6-1 records and are 4-0 in the SEC Red. The winner of Friday’s game will be crowned SEC Red champion.
The homecoming queen and Mr. Pretty Legs will be crowned at halftime.
The annual homecoming dance takes place from 8 to 11 p.m., Saturday, at the high school. Students can not enter after 10 p.m.
