In 2003 when Dan and Renee Dooley learned their daughters, Amanda and Julia, had cystic fibrosis. They launched the Winter Beach Blast in 2004 to support the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, which funds more CF research than any other organization. Today, Amanda and Julia are doing well living well with cystic fibrosis and the Dooleys hope the foundation will find a cure.
