Bowling: Saline Boys Defeat Bedford

Tristin Marion led the Hornets in their win over Bedford.

Saline smashed Bedford in boys varsity bowling at Maplewood Lanes Monday. Saline won 28-2.

The Hornets dominated the baker games with scores of 243 and 279 for a total of 522.

Drake Jones threw three strikes in the 10th frame in the second baker game.

In the first game, Tristin Marion bowled the high game of 244. Ben Learman, 226, Drake Jones, 214, and Michael Barba, 204, bowled well for Saline in the opening game.

In the second game, Marion led Saline with a score of 221. Learman scored 205 and Carson Schuon bowled 203.

Saline improved to 4-1.

In the girls’ varsity game, Saline lost 18-12. Abbey Mayer (174 and 225) and Tori Rishel (152 and 158) picked up points for Saline.
