Saline set a varsity football team record with its 61-0 victory over Brantford Assumption Friday at Hornet Stadium. The 61-point margin of victory is the largest since 1950, according to Michigan-Football.com. The previous record was set Oct. 3, 2003, when Saline defeated Dexter, 67-7.
Four of the six largest margins have occurred during Joe Palka’s tenure as head coach.
