Sarah McLaughlin and Megan Mulligan were the top Hornet scorers as Saline defeated Tecumseh, 132.25 to 125.8 Thursday in a meet at Saline High School.
McLaughlin led the Hornets in the balance beam and vault events while Mulligan was the top Hornet in the floor and uneven bars exercises.
McLaughlin scored an 8.6 in the vault. Also contributing the scoring were Annie Miloser (8.55) and Mulligan (8.5). Alena Miklosovic and Camile LaFleur scored 8.45 each to tie for the final scoring position.
On the uneven bars, Mulligan led the team with a score of 7.8. LaFleur was second at 7.6275. Rachel White (7.125) and McLaughlin (6.675) also finished in the scoring.
McLaughlin led the Hornets on the beam with a score of 8.850. Mulligan (8.55), Miloser (8.425) and White (8.2) added to the Hornet score.
In the floor exercise, Mulligan led the way with a score of 9.1725. Mulligan (9.175), Milsoer (8.425) and White (8.225) also contributed to Saline's score.
