LACROSSE: Saline Undefeated in SEC for First Time in Program History

For the first time in program history, the Saline varsity boys’ lacrosse team went undefeated in the SEC Red. Saline defeated Pioneer, 17-8, Wednesday, and then beat Skyline, 13-9, Saturday, to wrap up the historic season.

Davis Bruneau scored seven goals to lead the Hornets against Pioneer.  Chris Peters added 3 goals. Tanyr Krummenacher scored twice and added three assists. Robby Borer scored twice and Liam Finnegan and George Gatecliff each scored once. Will Olson picked up six ground balls and Collin Clark grabbed four. Mason La Fleur stopped seven shots.

Bruneau and Jackson Fairman each scored three goals against Skyline, while Jack Loveland and Chris Peters each scored twice. Krummenacher scored once and had nine assists. Jake Leslie and Gatecliff also scored. Adrian Routt led the team with five ground balls, while Olson and La Fleur each grabbed four. La Fleur made three saves in goal.
