The Saline Hornets 12U AAA team knocked the baseball all around the park in Cooperstown.

Saline started the fun by placing fifth out of 104 teams in the Around the Horn Plus skills competition.

Saline then went 4-2 in pool play, earning a bye for the first two rounds of the baseball tournament. The team won two games and lost one game in the tournament, falling to the number one seed.

Seven Saline players hit home runs in the tournament. Noah Reeves had a memorable moment, smashing a walk-off grand slam home run in the sixth inning of the first game of the tournament round.

Competing for the Hornets were Johnny Arvai, Noah Bird, Hunter Easton, Eric Friedholm, Ryan Friedholm, Anderson Holloway, Tyson Jacobs, Cole Kreuzer, Reid Muir, Jackson Phillips and Noah Reeves.
