Saline swam past Monroe, 146-37, in swim and dive action at Saline High School Thursday night.
Saline won every event. In fact, they took the top three positions in eight of 12 events.
On a night when coach Todd Brunty rested many of his top athletes, Saline’s depth swimmers were the starss.
The meet started with Cassie Anderson, Emily Klemptner, Maddy Murphy and Sarah Burchart winning the 200 medley relay in 1:56.74.
Sophomore Page Wilson led a 1-2-3 finish in the 200 yard free. She won in 2:09.44. She was followed by Mara Majer and Annika Olsen.
Sophomore Lauryn Kruse won the 200 yard IM in 2:25.57. Freshman Madison Miller was second in 2:35.69.
Maddie Luther captured the 50-free in 25.32. Emily Klemptner was third in 27:34.
Cam Mcpherson won the diving with a score of 261.05. Sarah Densham was second with 192.65 and Paige Gidley was third with 160.65.
Junior Madeline Robison won the 100 yard free in 59.12. Marissa Greber was second in 1:01.82 and Alexis Ploutz-Snyder was third in 1:02.86.
Freshman Emma Loveland won the 500 frees in 5:43.62. Eleanor smith was second in 6:07 and Gabrielle Marsh was third in 6:08.
Saline went 1-2-3-4 in the 200 free relay. Riley Jones, Cassies Anderson, Annika Olsen and Sam Fitch won in 1:48.45.
In the 100 yard breast, Kruse won her second event, finishing in 1:12.27. Murphy (1:15) was second and Sydney Kermath (1:17) was third.
Saline finished the night by going 1-2-3 in the 400 free relay. Kermath, Jones, Wilson and Emily Laing won in 3:51.84.
