National Weather Service Detroit has been updating its forecast for today over the last twenty-four hours.

As of 3:00 this afternoon, they were predicting total snowfall accumulations of 2" to 7" over the course of an event that began around the lunch hour.

We know that some Saline residents still feel the need to be doing last-minute shopping for the holiday. Please be careful and all yourself whatever extra time conditions suggest for safety.

Also be patient with others on the road as afternoon becomes evening.
