DTE: Wind Knocks Out Power for 1750 Saline Area Customers

The DTE outage map shows where power is down in and around Saline.

DTE’s Outage Map reports there are 1,755 Saline-area customers without power.

According to data provided by the website, the power problem was caused by wind damage. Southeast Michigan is under a high wind warning until 4 a.m., with gusts of up to 60 mph possible.

DTE did not provide an estimate for the restoration of service.

Most of the residents without power are east of Mill Pond Park and Curtiss Park and south of Bennett

The power outage was reported a little before 10:30 p.m. Around the same time, the Saline Area Fire Department was dispatched to the 400 block of Russell Street and 200 block of South Ann Arbor Street for wires arcing.
