Torrential Rains May Cause Flooding

According to a National Weather Service special statement, a strong thunderstorm is expected to be near Saline at 3:25 p.m.

Torrential rainfall could cause floods, according to the statement. Motorists are cautioned to avoid driving on flooded roadways.

The National Weather Service has issued a severe thunderstorm watch for Southeast Michigan, including Washtenaw County. The watch is in effect until 8 p.m.
