No school? No problem. Saline Parks & Recreation offers Fun Day Mini Camps during the school year when there is a day off from school. Campers participate in games, fitness activities, swimming, arts & crafts and more. Be sure to send a sack lunch, swim suit and towel. Registration deadline is 10/17. Cost: $44/54).

PRESCHOOL PUMPKIN HUNT:

EARLY BIRD REGISTRATION ENDS TODAY!

Tues., Oct. 16, 10am

Preschoolers will go on a mini pumpkin hunt on Miller Field, behind the Rec Center. After they find their perfect pumpkin, they will be able to decorate it and take it home. Children will also enjoy a story told by one of the Saline District Library’s own storytellers. A snack will be served. Don’t forget to bring your camera! Cost: $8 per child (register by Oct. 9 and save $2).

WINTERIZING TEFFT PARK

The Tefft Park outdoor sports facilities are in the process of being winterized.  This week, the soccer and sand volleyball nets have been taken down for the season.  The outdoor drinking fountain will be shut off as well. 

The tennis nets at Tefft Park will remain up for another week or two depending upon the weather.   The tennis nets at Peoples & Curtiss Park will remain up until November 1.

FITNESS CLASS HIGHLIGHT: TRX BOOTCAMP

TRX Bootcamp features small group training with a personal trainer using TRX with fun and energizing boot camp style activities to help reach your body goal. Participants will achieve strength, balance, flexibility and core stability simultaneously. Space is limited. All ages and fitness levels welcome.  Weather dependent the class may be held outdoors. Must pre register.

·         Session Dates: 10/13-11/3

·         Time: 8-8:50am

·         Fee: $44/60

WATER AEROBICS REMINDER
The new session of Water Aerobics starts this week.  It’s not too late to sign up.  Classes are held as follows:

·         Evening Deep Water: M&W 5:30-6:30pm

·         Sunday Deep Water: Su 4:30-5:30pm

·         Morning Low Stress: M,W,F: 8:30-9:30am
