A Look Ahead
Saline is in good shape for a playoff spot. With four wins already and two games left against struggling teams (Huron and Skyline), it would seem the six-win prerequisite for the playoffs is a good bet, though you won’t catch anyone on the Hornets taking any game for granted. A win against Monroe and the two struggling teams would give the Hornets a great shot at home playoff game.
Here is Saline’s closing schedule
Sept . 28 at Monroe (5-0)
Oct. 5 vs Huron (0-5)
Oct. 12 at Skyline (1-4)
Oct. 19 vs Novi (1-4)
The Hornets last made the playoffs in 2010. Saline hasn't posted a seven-win season since 2006, when the team was 7-2 before winning two more games in the playoffs for a total of nine.
