Weber-Blaess One Room School

What a fun time at the Weber-Blaess one room school ice cream social yesterday. It was great to see all of the families in attendance with the young and old(er) trying different activities. This is the kind of event which helps make Saline such a welcoming, friendly, family community. My thanks to all of the volunteers who made this annual event possible.

There was however, one downer to the day, I had to relinguish my Croquet Championship. I would like to blame it on the rather weird layout, or the rough surface, or the weather, or ? but unfortunately, I can't. Who was that lady who won the very significant trophy cup? A clue, her initials were CM and she is part of the Saline School system. I am looking forward to a re-match next year to attempt to regain my title and possession of that massive trophy.
