Saline Wins SEC Match At Home
The Lady Hornets volleyball team swept through Tecumseh Tuesday night.
Saline improved to 5-1 in the SEC with a 25-18, 25-14, 25-20 win over Tecumeh.
“"It was a good win for us. It was fun for us to play at home in front of our fans,” said Saline coach Lisa Shea.
Kara Rogers led the Hornets with 15 kills and nine digs. Natalie Sheridan had 16 digs. Also contributing were Ani Agbabian (8 kills, 8 digs), MacKenzie Shand (7 kills, 6 blocks) and Taylor Whitling (5 kills, 32 assists).
“We got contributions from every player on our team,” Shea said “We were pretty good on all phases of our game, except serving. We need to do a better job of managing our missed serves.”
Saline plays Saturday in a tournament at Milford.
