Bid on Lunch With Local Officials at Ice Cream Social

Interested in a one-on-one lunch with a Saline Area Schools principal? How about ice cream with a Saline City Council member?

These are some of the items that will be auctioned off at Sunday’s Old Fashion Ice Cream Social at the Weber-Blaess one-room school house, which takes place from 1-4 p.m.

The live auction, which raises money for the historic school house that is used in local history lessons for elementary students, will be conducted by David and Olivia Helmer of Braun and Helmer Auction Service. It will be the first ever auction conducted Olivia, who is nine years old.

The auction takes place at 3 p.m.

Here’s a list of the items for auction:

• Old fashion candy basket
• Lunch with Harvest principal Betty Rosen-Leacher
• Lunch with Pleasant Ridge principal Brad Bezeau
• Lunch with Woodland Meadows principal Michelle Szczechowicz.
• Ice cream with Brian Marl of Saline City Council
• Lunch with Heritage principal Les Sharon
• Lunch with Saline Middle School principal David Raft

Bidders must be required to pay immediately with cash or check.
