Sheriff's Office Identifies Teens Responsible for Graffiti in Lodi Township Neighborhood

Four Saline area teenagers have been identified as the culprits responsible for damage done to homes, driveways and vehicles in Lodi township Aug. 18, according to a news release issued by the Washtenaw County Sheriff’s Office.

An 18-year-old male, two 16-year-old males and a 15-year-old male admitted responsibility for the damage, according to the news release.

On Aug. 18, deputies responded to numerous complaints of damaged property on Windmill Way and Stoneridge and Brookview drives.

Racial and sexual obscenities were painted on property in the neighborhood.

The Washtenaw County Sheriff’s Office has determined that victims were not targeted and that the action was random, according to the report. Complete investigative details are not being released at this point.

The investigation will be forwarded to the prosecutor’s office for criminal charges, according to the report.
