A local man was transported by ambulance for care after police were called following a dispute in a local business Thursday afternoon in downtown Saline.
Saline Police Chief Jerrod Hart said the police were called by someone in a local business concerned about the man's condition after a dispute. Hart declined to name the business but said it's not the man's first incident with the business.
Police found the man in the parking lot behind Key Bank.
"No crime was committed. He was not a threat to public safety, but we were worried he could harm himself," Hart said. "We thought we should get him medical assistance."
