Saline’s bowling teams hosted Chelsea at Maplewood Lanes Wednesday. The boys came away with a 26-4 victory while the girls fell, 20-10.
Saline’s boys improved to 9-2.
High scorer was Tanner Wiedmeyer, who bowled games of 233 and 203. Drake Jones was next with a game of 227. Colin Mitchell, 222, Cameron White, 217, Dallas Casey, 213, and Tristin Marion, 211, also had strong games for the Hornets.
On the girls side, Saline split the Baker games with Chelsea, but Chelsea took the individual games with Saline’s top bowler out for the evening with an illness.
Still, Madison Shelton bowled a game-high 158 in the first game. McKenzie Gran, 136, and Brittney Tuck, 131, also had strong games.
In the second game Regan Cox rolled a 156 and Shelton was right behind her at 155. Gran chipped in with a solid 136.
The Hornets host Ypsilanti Monday at Maplewood Lanes.

The city had the chance to inspect these units which they must of failed to do. New owners obviously with new INCREASED TAXES... the rent must go up. We still have capitalism in America thanks to our VETERANS!
You throw shade on the city like this is their fault as you say that Saline did not inspect this property, but you really don't know. Something must be done to the property, it has been in lousy shape since the roof collapsed in June 2019. I for one and glad that things are starting to move. People living there d
