COVID-19: 1 Death, No Hospitalizations in Washtenaw County, Critical Care Units Emptying in Michigan

The 226th Washtenaw County resident has died with COVID-19, according to county health department data updated Thursday. Data also showed no new hospitalizations and 98 additional people testing positive for the virus.

JV BASKETBALL: Maloney Nets 14 as Saline Girls Defeats Monroe

The Saline junior varsity girls basketball team opened the season with a 52-11 victory over Monroe. Payton Maloney scored 12 of her team-high 14 points in the first half to lead the Hornets.

More Sports Resume, But Most Fans Are Banned; Games Are Available Online - For a Cost

The state has lifted the prohibition on contact sports, allowing high school sports to resume with some restrictions to prevent the spread of COVID-19. One of those restrictions is a limit on how many spectators can attend the games.
