Five years ago, everything changed. Precious, fun-loving Chad Carr was diagnosed with DIPG on September 23, 2014, during a time when little was known about this devastating, inoperable form of brain cancer. But, by the end of that fateful week, the #ChadTough movement was born, primarily due to the outpouring of support from the Saline community. Now, five years later, because of the overwhelming support of PEOPLE LIKE YOU, we’ve RAISED MORE THAN $9 MILLION for pediatric brain cancer research. That’s a staggering number. And it amounts to something truly invaluable: Hope.
As we look back on Chad’s Diagnosis Day, we invite you to read about the monumental progress you’ve influenced since September 2014: https://www.chadtough.org/journey-to-a-cure-how-research-has-progressed-since-chads-diagnosis/
THANK YOU to everyone who has joined us in this journey over the last five years. And, if you’re just discovering ChadTough, we’re thrilled you’re here. You can play a pivotal role in helping to ensure that someday, the words “your child has brain cancer” can be followed by “but there is a cure.”
We’d love to see all of you on Saturday morning at Hornet Stadium for our 6th annual, family-friendly, RunTough for ChadTough 5K and 1M Fun Run! Register here: www.chadtough.org/run.
