There is still time to volunteer to help with one or more of the areas at the 2018 Saline Community Fair, August 29 - September 3. Whether you might be interested in assisting with one of the educational displays or providing general fair help, check out the opportunities listed on the website at www.salinefair.org.
It is also time to put the finishing touches on any items you plan to exhibit at the fair. The entering of exhibits will take place on Monday, August 27 from 4-8 p.m. and on Tuesday, August 28 from 9 a.m. until noon. Stop by local businesses to pick up a copy of the fairbook where you will find a variety of categories to enter exhibits. A digital copy of the fairbook can also be found online. Anyone interested is invited to enter exhibits. There are more than 1,000 classes for participants of all ages - why not get that photo printed off, enter some vegetables or flowers, do some baking or canning, or finish up that artwork or fine arts project, just to mention a few.
