Recently the Saline Area Lions Club heard a presentation from Tammera Bollman, Director at The Harold and Kay Peplau Therapeutic Riding Center---home of Therapeutic Riding Inc.--and, as a result, Club members ventured out to the facility to make a donation to help them in the continuance of their outstanding efforts.

Located in the Saline area just off of Platt Road on Morgan Road, Therapeutic Riding, Inc. provides therapeutic benefits through several adaptive horsemanship programs which may result in increased physical strength and balance, emotional maturity, body confidence, self-esteem and opportunity for social interaction.  They focus on persons of all ages with disabilities who would find it difficult to participate in other physical and personal growth programs.  With an ever-growing reputation for quality services, the Therapeutic Riding, Inc. Center is a great example of volunteerism in our community.
