SHS Wind Ensemble & New Horizons Band Collaboration Concert

What: The Saline High School Wind Ensemble and Saline New Horizons Band will perform.

When:  Thursday, April 19th at 7:30 p.m.

Where:  Saline High School - Ellen A. Ewing Auditorium, 1300 Campus Pkwy. Saline, MI

WhyThis concert will feature the music of Bernstein, Sousa, Gabrieli, Rossini, Vaughan Williams and more.  Clarinet soloist, Ryan King, will also perform.

Into The Woods

What: Concordia University’s Into The Woods

When:  Thursday thru Saturday, April 19-21 at 8 p.m.; Sunday, April 22nd at 2 p.m.

Where:  Concordia University Kreft Center for the Arts, 4090 Geddes Road Ann Arbor 48105

WhyInto the Woods is a modern retelling of several fairy tales, including the dangers and opportunities the characters face as they journey through this ever changing forest.  Recommended for ages 14+.

SHS Drama Club Presents The Children’s Hour

What: The Children’s Hour

WhyDirected by Lindsey Zinbarg and written by Lillian Hellman, this drama is set in an all-girls boarding school run by two women.  An angry student runs away from the school, and to avoid being sent back, tells her grandmother that the two headmistresses are having a lesbian affair.

Jazzercize Open House, 30 Year Anniversary

What: Join a free, 30 minute dance class to celebrate Jazzercize’s 30 Year Anniversary.

Military Rifle Match

What: Military Rifle Match

Why: Open to the public, the match will begin with a safety briefing, followed by a the course of fire, which will be 5 rounds slow fire in the prone position for sight-in.

What: Spanish music concert for kids & teens
