Additional funds are being sought to enable the Friends to improve parking, the driveway, signage and trail markers. The Friends are also working to clear log jams from the Saline River to allow kayaking from Saline to Milan.
The entrance to the Preserve is off South Maple Road just west of the Saline-Milan Road. The Preserve borders the DNR Fisheries which is located on the south border of Saline off Saline-Milan Road.
