Saline's favorite live music series is back! Acoustic Routes Concerts is thrilled to bring the Steel City Rovers back to Stony Lake Brewing for an unforgettable night of music.
Hailing from Hamilton, Ontario, the Steel City Rovers have legal claim to their own unique, foot-stomping genre: "Celtibilly."
They seamlessly fuse traditional Celtic music with North American roots, bluegrass, and folk. Known for their powerful, emotive vocals and a commanding, raucous live presence, they effortlessly switch from high-energy festival anthems to intimate, timeless storytelling.
What truly sets them apart is their instrumentation. The Rovers stand out by performing on meticulously crafted replicas of historical instruments—including Scottish small pipes, mandola, and Irish whistles—breathing new life into melodies that stretch back centuries.
Check out these music videos to get a taste of what’s in store:

As always with Acoustic Routes shows at Stony Lake, 100% of ticket sales go directly to the artists on stage. Come out, support incredible live music, and keep the roots music scene thriving!
Get Here Early! Be sure to arrive early to grab the best seats in the house. While you wait for the music to kick off, Jerry and Heidi will be behind the bar pouring Jerry’s expertly crafted high-gravity ales alongside fresh cider and wine. Feel free to bring your own food or order in from local Saline favorites!

Sunny, with a high of 88 and low of 61 degrees. Sunny in the morning, clear overnight.
The "Sinking" fund that never sinks. The "CARES" fund that is just school tax in disguise.
Seems to me that the CARES Fund ignores the Recreation Center? Why? When the Fund was created in 1999 it included the Rec.Center? Everyone who attends Saline Schools and their neighbors all get discounted Memberships but pay no tax dollars to support it? That feels wrong to me.
Hey there Dave. I just want to provide some clarifying information. I wrote a letter of support to the Cares committee a little over a year ago on behalf of a grant application submitted by Saline Rec Center. The grant was approved.
My wife and I have been there 3 times already. The selection is amazing and the staff is extremely helpful. Can’t wait to go back again!!!
You lost us at "when I first voted for Trump". No credibility after that.
From someone who likely supported:
* Abusing the justice system to go after opponents
* Suspsended rights during COVID
* Lied about the origin of COVID
* Lied about the treatment of COVID
* Pretended every positive test for a virus was a COVID case
Supported? What an insane leap. Must say somewhat surprised to see you are a supporter of ridiculous conspiracy theories. You are wrong about us and wrong about much of what is on that little list.
Appreciate the interest in serving Saline. At this point, looks as though he will win by acclimation. Wonder what would happen if there were more candidates than spots. Without understanding why, it would be difficult to support a candidate who withdrew their interest then popped back in last minute.
As you can see by the picture, Bret is active in the city events and gives countless hours to his community.
