All that sunshine couldn’t last forever. Hope you got your Vitamin D, because Mother Nature has some tricks in store for Southeast Michigan Monday.
Early in the morning, there could be snow showers around 7 a.m. Temperatures should climb above freezing by 8 a.m. and then keep rising all day long – reaching as high as 51 degrees by 10 p.m. Unfortunately, it’s going to be rainy for much of the day. We won’t see the sun much this week. And after another warm and wet Tuesday, the temperatures plummet to Wednesday-Sunday – with highs of about 29.
Today's Agenda
Monday is National Tempura Day.
Celebrate Japanese and other Asian cuisines on National Tempura Day. Tempura is a dish made by battering vegetables, seafood or meats/poultry, then dredging through panko breadcrumbs and deep-frying them. Tempura is a dish the Japanese have made for centuries, but some purport it actually was a dish brought to the Japanese by Portuguese traders. It is a tasty treat to try – and you can find it at Biwako Sushi, open from 11 a.m. to 9:30 p.m., Monday.
On this day in history: In 1610, Galileo Galilei discovered three moons of Jupiter. In 1953, President Harry Truman announced the development of the hydrogen bomb. In 1999, the impeachment trial of Bill Clinton began in the US Senate.

Proud of this Varsity team. They organized door decorating for the Freshman & JV teams (all on their own). They even thought of my daughters! Way to spread the excitement of being a part of this program. You set a great example for all! Being a Hornet is something to celebrate! pic.twitter.com/Wy0MEyuO1Z
