Saline Area Schools has announced several administrative changes for the 2019-20 school year.
Kevin Musson, principal of Pleasant Ridge Elementary, is retiring. He’ll be replaced by Betty Rosen-Leacher, principal at Harvest Elementary School. Emily Sickler, current assistant principal Saline Middle School, will become principal at Harvest Elementary. Sickler will be replaced by Alex Schukow, principal at Heritage Elementary School.
The district is posting the assistant principal position at Heritage.
The district announced the changes on social media.
“We are very fortunate to have a talented and flexible leadership team. This allows us to make transitions while maintaining continuity for staff and families. In addition, we want to continue the positive momentum in place within the district,” said Superintendent Scot Graden.
The changes will take place over the summer. In June, Sickler and Rosen-Leacher will schedule opportunities to meet with families in their new buildings.
Partly Cloudy , with a high of 46 and low of 26 degrees. Sunny in the morning, overcast in the afternoon and evening, clear overnight.
Interesting. As the schools are funded by tax-payer dollars, "the people" paid for that report . . . . and it has to do with our public/publicly funded schools. Hard to understand why the Board is deciding to and/or thinks they can keep it private. Disappointing (to put it mildly) and concerning.
