Avelo Airlines Announces the New Nonstop Service to Southern Connecticut from Detroit

Avelo Airlines announced today it will start service at Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport (DTW) with an exclusive, nonstop route to Southern Connecticut’s Tweed-New Haven Airport (HVN). Avelo is the only airline offering nonstop service between Detroit and Southern Connecticut. Affordable one-way fares start at $64*.

Beginning April 4, 2025, Avelo will operate this route twice weekly on Fridays and Mondays, utilizing Boeing Next-Generation 737 aircraft. Travelers can make reservations at AveloAir.com.
