What is your business best known for? Teaching proper training for optimal health and longevity. Utilizing the concepts of anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, ergonomic movements to produce safe effective techniques
without the damaging effects of joint wear n tear.

Tell us something people might not know about your business: Developed 25 years ago, it is the fastest growing martial art in the world today. With over 400 schools world wide including South Korea. Dot was asked by the founder to move to South Korea to live. While there, she taught instructors and students Choi Kwang Do, introducing this revolutionary martial art system.

What would you be doing if you weren't running your business? Perhaps using a walker. canes or wheel chair. ( I have no-lateral hip replacements, my femur is held together with an internal fixture and I have a metal plate with screws in my right ankle.  Because of this healing martial art, I am able to move freely, kick over my head and enjoy teaching and guiding others to this wonderful system.

Did anyone else play a big role your decision to start a business? Who? Why were they important to your decision? I learned thebenifits of easy systematic training, healthy mental and physical conditioning through the founder of this martial art, Grand Master Kwang Choi. He has had a constant interest in our town since 1974 when he first began teaching here at Houghton school. Now as a world famous 9th degree black belt , he always has time for my husband and myself as a class personal friend.

Describe a moment in your business life that makes all the hard work “worth it." When a mild mannered young woman or overweight businessman gain self confidence, loose weight, get fit and reach personal goals! It is tremendously rewarding when they realize their full potential!

What do you love about going to work each day? What I love about going to work eavh day is-EVERYTHING!

What cool new products or services are you offering? Beginning in April I will be teaching Choi Kwang Do at the Saline Senior Center. Offering self defense, rank classes and Cardio Choi Fire!
