LaDonna Bauer, 89, Was a Full-Time Mother, Worked at Correctional Facilities
LaDonna June Bauer, 89, of Ypsilanti, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 15, 2020 with her family by her side. LaDonna was born June 22, 1930 to the late Thomas and Laura Barnett. On July 10, 1948 she married the late Gaylord “Dutch” Bauer. LaDonna is survived by her children, David (Lois) Bauer, Thomas (Phyllis) Bauer and JillAnne Bauer; four grandsons; four great grandchildren; and her brother William Barnett. Preceded in death by her husband, her parents and her daughter Jacquelyn James. LaDonna worked for the Michigan State Correctional Facilities and she was a full time mother. She enjoyed traveling, crafts, games, and also spending time with her family. Family will receive friends on Friday, January 17, 2020 from 11:00 A.M. until the time of funeral service at 1:00 P.M. at Robison-Bahnmiller Funeral Home in Saline. Pastor Doug Strader will be officiating. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Saline. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Vibrant Life Senior Living Activities and envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
