I was in the front row of this meeting. Several board members expressed their gratitude to Superintendent Laatsch, not just Mr. Gerbe. Jenny Miller gave a heartfelt goodbye not just for her leaving, but his as well. Your unnecessary, inflammatory color commentary has no place in journalism.
We appreciate Superintendent Laatsch for his many contributions to Saline - he will be missed!
Overcast , with a high of 37 and low of 30 degrees. Overcast in the morning, partly cloudy for the afternoon, overcast during the evening, mist overnight.
This opportunity is transformative for the City of Saline and wonderful for the entire community. If Mr. Girbach is truly the civil servant he claims to be and has the City's best interest at heart, he will bury that hatchet of his.

This seems to have become personal for the Mayor at some point to the degree that his actions did not seem consistent with the best interests of the city, undermined the ability to work pro
The Mayor is easy to work with as long as you agree with him and he gets his way.
He announced to the board last February this would his last year.
