Why did you decide on teaching as a profession? And why did you choose your specific subject/area? I chose teaching because I was inspired by the teachers I had when I was younger, and I have always loved school and learning new things :) I chose English because I absolutely love literature, writing, and even grammar! I always love when I can find new things in a piece of literature every time I read it.
Describe a satisfying moment you have experienced as a teacher. One satisfying moment I've experienced as ateacher was when a student told me that I had helped make English his favorite class
Who was your favorite teacher and why? My favorite teacher was my AP English teacher, his enthusiasm and love for his subject was so apparent, and so much of what he taught me has stayed with me to this day
What is something about you that might surprise your students? I'm a really big sports fan
How do you like to spend your time away from class? When I am away from class I like to read, watch movies, and travel.
